This study explores the integration of engineering processes with market insights as a strategic approach to fostering healthcare innovation. By aligning technical methodologies with evolving market demands, organizations can improve patient satisfaction, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve substantial market growth. A systematic review was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, encompassing 52 peer-reviewed articles published between 2012 and 2023. The findings reveal that interdisciplinary collaboration, iterative methodologies, and patient-centric design significantly contribute to the success of engineering-market integration. Notable outcomes include a 25–40% improvement in patient satisfaction, a 20–35% reduction in product development cycles, and a 15–30% increase in market share for organizations adopting market-aligned strategies. Additionally, data-driven decision-making emerged as a pivotal enabler, enhancing the relevance and efficiency of healthcare innovations. This review provides evidence-based insights and practical recommendations for organizations aiming to navigate the complexities of healthcare innovation, emphasizing the importance of aligning technical and market strategies to deliver impactful and inclusive solutions.
